Are your products dermatologically tested?

All our shampoos have passed rigorous dermatological testing. This testing reveals any potential irritants and allergic effects.

We chose for this to be tested on human volunteers with sensitive skin over a 48hr period. All our shampoos are “Sensitive Formula. Dermatologically Tested” and have passed with the best rating with a top rating of 0 for skin irritancy and can be classed as non-irritant. Skin irritation is defined as non-immunological local skin inflammation.

What if the product is not for me?

Does your shampoos contain parabens, Sulfates, SLS or SLES?

We do not use SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) or  SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulphate) in our shampoos. Credence also does not contain any of the following; Parabens, Phthalates, Synthetic dyes, Cocamide DEA or Mineral oils.

Are your products suitable for vegetarians/ vegans?

Yes, all of our shampoos are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Do you test on animals?

We are passionately against animal testing of any kind.  We do not perform animal testing during any stage of development, nor is it carried out by others on our behalf. We do not purchase raw materials on which animal testing of any kind has been performed. We pride ourselves on testing on humans, and never animals.

At CREDENCE HAIR COMPANY we stand behind every bottle we make.
If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with your shampoo, you can return it within 28 days of delivery for a full refund — no questions asked.

How It Works

  1. Get in touch — Contact our Customer Care team at contact@credencehair.com within 28 days of receiving your order.
  2. Send it back — The shampoo should be in its original packaging and at least 80% full. We’ll provide simple return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return label.
  3. Receive your refund — Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • Returns are accepted only for items purchased directly through our Credence site.
  • Gift cards, samples, and promotional items are not eligible for refunds.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless your order arrived damaged or incorrect.

If Something Isn’t Right

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not quite what you expected, please reach out to us within 28 days of delivery.

We’ll replace it or issue a full refund, which ever you prefer — no hassle, no stress.

Refunds & Exchanges (If applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@credencehair.com

Shipping

To return your product please contact us and we will provide the returns address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £70, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. As we cannot guarantee that we will receive your return.

Sale items

Unfortunately, only full priced items can be refunded.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
